Job Overview

The Manager Provider Integration manages the daily operations of the entity to ensure alignment with practice or entity objectives. Works in partnership with the Executive Leadership and the Governing Board and Committees on program development and implementation, including the development of clinical and operations integration support for alignment opportunities. Also works in close partnership with hospital and physician stakeholders, advising committees, and user groups who will assist in identifying needs specific to the implementation and ongoing operations of the practice or entity.

Shift: Day and some night. 7am to 10pm (most likely 8am to 5pm on regular days but will have 7am meetings, 5pm plus board and dinner meeting as needed) Potentially some weekend needed depends on work. Hybrid

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION - Bachelors' Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Management, Business Administration or other related field.
  • EXPERIENCE - 3 years of experience in network management, quality improvement or practice operations within a large provider or health plan setting.
  • EQUIVALENCY - Professional relevant experience, in addition to the required experience, may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis.
Responsibilities

*No direct patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1.Supports leadership in advancing physician alignment strategy by coordinating integration initiatives, assisting with financial modeling, and overseeing implementation of strategic plans.
2.Assists with Board and governance functions by preparing content for meetings maintaining documentation, and tracking project progress against established timelines.
3.Manages program scope, deliverables and supporting projects to affect practice transformation. Manages business objectives defined within practice such as fee-for-service and value-based payment model implementation, data collection for contract analysis, quality and performance metrics, or for other initiatives.
4.Assigns and reviews work, provides work instruction and develops team members. Evaluates performance of team members, providing continuous feedback. Manages discipline and performance issues; hires and fires team members. Identifies resource needs and develops recommendations for meeting needs.
5.Identifies operational opportunities and challenges, developing recommendations to ensure continued success of the entity while ensuring physician alignment and support.
6.Advises project requestors and sponsors on the development of project plans and scope of work to ensure inclusion of appropriate details and clearly defined objectives.
7.Ensures all project related information, corporate reserve requirements and data analytics are accurately tracked, documented and maintained.
8.Facilitates collaboration across independent entities by organizing joint initiatives and serving as a liaison between practices. Maintains relationships with practices, physicians, and practice administrators, addressing day-to-day concerns and escalating complex issues to leadership.
9.Implements approved quality and safety goals, tracking progress on established measures and coordinating improvement initiatives.
10.Administers vendor contracts and partnerships, ensuring compliance with terms and preparing regulatory reports.
11.Analyzes industry trends and best practices to develop actionable insights. Regularly evaluates the structures, mechanisms, processes and effectiveness of clinical integration efforts and Managed Services offerings and recommends improvements. Actively monitors the national landscape looking for opportunities to apply best practices.
12.Coordinates provider education activities, including scheduling and delivering presentations for orientations and corporate requirements.
13.Manages daily operations as defined by corporate documents, implementing approved strategic initiatives and ensuring operational standards are met.

Guidelines: Guidelines are in the form of stated goals and objectives for function.

Complexity: Work assignment is unstructured and leader is responsible for implementing and managing a variety of objectives, resources, and initiatives to achieve the goals of the function. Duties performed include operational planning; developing standards, priorities, guidelines, processes, measurement (evaluation) systems; implementation of production and performance management standards; and allocating resources. Work is tactical and operational in nature.

Decision Making: Employee is responsible for planning, organizing, allocating resources, ensuring compliance with procedures, and achieving the objectives of the function.

Communications: Communication at this level is primarily internally focused and involves establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, peers, directors, and executives. Provides guidance and interpretation of the enterprise's policies, procedures, and standards. Provides information to higher-level directors and executives.

Supervision Received: Responsible for achieving the objectives of function within the scope of established guidelines. Employee is expected to resolve problems that arise in the normal course of the work. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and feasibility of decisions.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $109,636.42 to $164,454.63
Hourly Salary Range: $52.71 to $79.06
