Job Description: FedEx Dataworks is seeking a driven, collaborative Data Analyst II to join our Data Science & Analytics Team. As an advanced analytics practitioner, you will leverage vast and varied data sets across our retailer and shipping networks to demonstrate the incremental value of our digital products, and to productize shipping optimization insights for FedEx customers. The ideal candidate will have robust technical data analytics skills and business acumen, with a passion for data storytelling, and cross-functional partnership. Under general supervision, designs and implements processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data/text mining, analysis to enable informed business decisions. Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources. Uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via an increasing understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis. Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, and fact-based management to drive decision- making. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need. Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance. Minimum Experience Two (2) years work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development and/or predictive analytics. Proficient in analytics software and applications. Knolwedge, Skills and Abilities Experience with Data Governance offerings such as: Collibra, Ab Initio, Purview or similar tools, Good interpersonal skills, Good written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.
