Position: Commission Support Representative

Location: Topeka, KS - onsite
Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commission Support Representative to join our fast-paced Finance team. This isn't your average commission position; our team manages several business lines with over 60 carrier relationships and hundreds of products. As a key support player, you'll collaborate across teams, tackle complex commission data, and help ensure accurate, timely payments.

What you'll do:
- Download daily and weekly commission statements from all carriers
- Provide day-to-day commission support for multiple business lines: Annuity, Life, Medicare
- Accumulate, interpret, and calculate commission payments received from carriers in accordance with company policies
- Process data from multiple sources and standardize formats to prepare accurate and timely commission upload files
- Collaborate with internal departments and respond to inquiries regarding commission payments or discrepancies
Experience you'll bring:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data validation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with various personality types and levels of staff
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a heavy workload and shifting priorities
Bonus Points:
- 1-2 years' experience working with data or commissions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in advanced data manipulation using formulas and macros to streamline and standardize reporting processes
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technology and software
