Are you an expert in logistics? The Transportation Team at Horseshoe Bay Resort is looking for a Coordinator to keep the department running smoothly. The Transportation Coordinator is responsible for making transportation reservations for hotel guests, members, and groups. He/she will have to work closely with event managers to assist in group's transportation needs to and from the airport as well as on and off property.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for making transportation reservations for hotel guests, members, and groups. He/she will have to work closely with event managers to assist in group's transportation needs to and from the airport as well as on and off property.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Assist with day to day operations for resort transportation needs including valet, detailing, and driver commitments
  • Maintain all department vehicles records, including mechanical, maintenance, licensing, and cleanliness
  • Processing Purchase Orders and vendor billing for the department.
  • Researching and understanding specific logistical information for all transportation runs
  • Maintain professional composure in high stress situations in order to make last-minute changes
  • Maintain a constant awareness of resort amenity schedules and promotions
  • Receive and organize reservations for members and hotel guests
  • Inform Manager of transportation logistical issues.
  • Must have knowledge of SMS and be able to train associates


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel, and email
  • Satisfactory background and MVR for insurance purposes


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Exceptional communication skills, detail oriented, and ability to learn in an ever changing work environment
  • Knowledge of area airports, roads, and local attractions
  • Ability to work in a team oriented atmosphere
  • Pleasant personality
  • Be able to lift luggage, drive, and back up all department positions
  • Previous experience with transportation logistics preferred
  • Always follow all Resort rules and policies
