The Special Project Planner plays a critical role in the successful planning and execution of turnarounds and small infrastructure projects. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project plans that ensure timely execution, cost management, and adherence to safety standards. The planner will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and other stakeholders to define scopes, schedules, and resource requirements. Key responsibilities include coordinating pre-turnaround planning activities and ensuring alignment with Eastmans turnaround playbook and Capital Process. Effective communication with cross-functional teams and senior management is essential to optimize project outcomes and maintain operational efficiency throughout all phases of turnaround and project execution. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED. B.S. in Engineering, Construction Science, preferred. Consideration will be given for applicable work experience Candidate must have 10 years' experience in various aspects of the Operations, Maintenance, or Capital process or appropriate comparable experience. Candidate should have direct experience with plant turnarounds and planning, scheduling, or team leadership experience in an industrial facility.
