Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring a temporary, full-time summer warehouse associates in Richmond, Virginia. The Temporary Warehouse position is a summer position. The individual in this role is responsible for shipping, receiving, stocking, filling orders and making hydraulic hoses during the months of May through early August. Seeking candidates with previous work experience in warehouse or parts operations, plus seated lift truck experience, required. High school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements for the summer warehouse position include:
Physical requirements must be met for the summer warehouse job, including the ability sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Able to lift, carry and maneuver items up to 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
