Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit |
CYFCP builds the capacity of families, service providers, researchers, teachers, and communities to promote the well-being of children and youth. The center carries out basic, applied, and action research and translates research into effective programs and practice and policies. |
Position Summary |
The project manager for Recipe for Success (
PMRFS) shall have overall responsibility for the duties of the PI if he/she is not available to carry them out. In coordination with the Co-PI and Co-Project director they shall lead and coordinate all day-to-day activities related to the completion of Recipe for Success (
RFS) direct education, social marketing, and
PSE efforts, including nutrition education/training sessions for
SNAP. They shall coordinate collaboration with RFS' partners to deliver direct education, social marketing, and Policy, System and Environment (
PSE) interventions. In addition, they shall guide the
RFS team to acknowledge, adapt and accommodate cultural and ethnic differences among targeted populations through direct education, social marketing, and
PSE efforts. |
Minimum Qualifications |
- PhD or equivalent degree in Anthropology, Nutrition, Public Education or similar area of concentration.
- Grant writing and management experience.

Additional Required Certifications, Licensures, and Certificates |

Preferred Qualifications |
- Working knowledge of Spanish.
- Experience with SNAP-Ed programs.
- Experience working with SNAP eligible populations.
