Business Systems Analyst II- Regulatory Reporting (AXIOM)- Remote

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following locations: NC, AZ

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail orientated Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing business analysis in support of the preparation of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to U.S. Regulators through the reporting tool AxiomSL ControllerView platform.

This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support. Performs needs assessments to determine business requirements and documents functional specifications to assigned system.

• You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will bridge the gap between technology and business, ensuring that technical and functional requirements and documentation are understood by business users.
• Understand the requirements of the Reporting team, interpret the FED instructions and define the strategic solution to the business need.
• Identifying Requirements - Determines system requirements and communicates them using specifications or other forms of documentation.
• Good knowledge of AxiomSL ControllerView platform from a technical perspective and able to connect the dots from a functional perspective on the capabilities of the tool
• Create and execute test cases to validate the functionality and accuracy of regulatory reports generated by the Axiom system.

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operational Support

• Experience in preparing functional requirements documents, generating /interpreting the data lineage, writing test strategy / test cases and other project artifacts.
• Good knowledge on AxiomSL ControllerView platform from a technical perspective and able to connect the dots from a functional perspective on the capabilities of the tool
• Experience with Agile and Sprint delivery operating models, as well as tools like SQL, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Finance and accounting skillset - knowledge of regulatory reports and forms such as FFIEC 031, FRY-9C, CCAR Reports and others
• Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High level of interpersonal skills and integrity
• Familiarity with financial products and financial institution operations
