This type of appointment is not approved to work more than 999 hours per year for all positions combined. Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.
Accountabilities
We currently have two opportunities to join our Football staff; Quality Control - Offense and Quality Control - Defense

Individuals are responsible for the following:

  • Serve as a positive role model for Colgate football student-athletes
  • Represent Colgate University and Colgate Football with dignity and respect
  • Engage with other support staff members to assist in occasional division-wide events/initiatives.



Organize film and video duties for the program including:

  • Collaborate with DFO on student filmers schedules and manage a crew of student videographers; responsible for the training, scheduling, and directing student workers' day to day task within the football program
  • Import, organize, and edit daily practice and game film using DVSport
  • Take part in film exchange with position groups and other institutions
  • Manage video equipment inventory
  • Assist coaches in daily/weekly film breakdown for self-scout and opponent scout


Assist the Director of Football Operations with tasks related to:

  • Daily office operations
  • Recruiting visits and camps
  • Practice organization
  • Travel operations and other planning and in-travel associated tasks


Work closely with the coaching staff in:

  • Weekly game planning
  • Positional support on the field
  • Preparing scout assignments for weekly opponents

Requirements


Professional Experience/ Qualifications

  • Experience with NCAA football program
  • Working knowledge of Catapult, XOS, DVSport Software, PFF, HUDL
  • Must have good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to excel in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Physical Requirements
Other Information
A current valid driver's license, in accordance with the University's Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy, is required.
