This position is "hybrid"; employee will be required to visit their assigned headquarters or other meeting locations in the service area as needed (frequency will vary but expected to be at least a few days per month). PG&E's Power Generation Utility Owned Generation (UOG) Portfolio Strategy organization is responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to Power Generation and other PG&E functional areas, including to the following:
The Electric Program Manager will be expected to support all UOG Portfolio Strategy functional areas of responsibility, with an initial emphasis on True North Strategy development and implementation, Generation Technology Lifecycle Strategy Development, BESS Project Pipeline Development, and Emerging Technology Evaluation. This position manages and/or administers a company program, a grouping of project work or a special customer offering with an assigned/designated annual financial budget. The incumbent provides oversight, governance, communication, training, reporting as well as overall process and project management for the assigned program. He / She manages the program budget, which may include developing and presenting the budget proposal. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors. Develops both annual and long term program work plan forecast and budget. Regularly monitors costs vs. budget, presents status and prepares and proposes solutions to address variances.
Represents the program as a subject matter expert and stakeholder on process improvement teams, regulatory filings, and various stakeholder groups. Supports the GRC witness with testimony development by providing data and request response support.
