The team is responsible for risk management, internal audit, supplier revenue, tax, insurance and investor relations, finance operations, corporate financial planning and analysis, strategy and business insights and procurement and facilities.

Position overview

Finance & Strategy is seeking a Team Leader, Reconciliation

Provide credit card reconciliation services and support to internal and external commercial and defense & government (D&G) customers. Deliver associated reporting within established service level agreements (SLAs). Recommend and design improvement projects to maximize efficiencies and optimize resources related to credit card reconciliation processes.

Position Description



  • Functions as liaison between banks/credit card vendors and internal and external CWT customers to ensure timeliness and accuracy of both incoming and outgoing credit card reconciliation information.
  • Validates air, rail, and service fee transactions on clients' credit card billing statements by reconciling transactional data received from the banks/credit card vendors against CWT sales records for specified accounts.
  • Provides reporting within established SLAs that assists customers in balancing their accounts and includes client-defined data fields used for their specific internal purposes, such as expense reporting, travel policy compliance, and travel spending trends.
  • Works with IT Support to resolve data and system issues and customize client reports where necessary.
  • Maintains documentation of credit card reconciliation standard operating procedures and client-specific processing instructions and requirements.
  • Serves as credit card reconciliation Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external clients.
  • Researches unmatched items using GDSs, MyMatrix (back-office system), and other resources as necessary, and communicates with branches to resolve root causes and identify areas for possible improvements.
  • Ensures that the overall rate of unmatched items remains at 2% or less on both commercial and government reconciliations.
  • Supports branch personnel on any questions/issues they may encounter on reconciliation reports to ensure timely delivery to external customers. Ensures any unmatched transaction trends are documented and escalated for resolution.
  • Analyzes new and existing procedures to identify opportunities for productivity enhancements and/or cost savings.
  • Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate which is conducive to maximizing employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action when necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Qualifications

Position Requirements

* Experience & education

o 1-3 years travel industry experience

o HS Diploma

o Associate degree preferred

* Languages

o English fluent

* Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)




    • Demonstrated proficiency in and knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Basic knowledge of data mapping
    • Excellent listening, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with personnel at all levels
    • Able to manage multiple and shifting priorities
    • Must demonstrate initiative, excellent attention to detail, and appropriate follow-through
    • Ability to work independently, yet function as a member of the team
