POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervising the overall functions and staff of the Core Laboratory, Reference Department Point of Care Testing and the Luckow Laboratory. Ensures compliance with departmental an hospital policies and procedures and applicable legal regulatory agencies. EDUCATION: (Consistent with New Jersey State Department of Health technical personal qualifications, ie., CLIA). Minimum education requirement: B.S. MT (ASCP) or equivalent EXPERIENCE: 5 years of experience in Core Laboratory (Hematology and Chemistry). SPECIAL SKILLS: NOTE: Interpretation of all equivalencies as stated in the responsibility of the Director of Laboratories in cooperation with the management staff member responsible for the Laboratory and Human Resource Department.
