Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview

We are expanding our Financial Management Service Line to support exciting opportunities at Pantheon Data. This role offers the chance to work on transformative projects, including enhancing military pay systems, applying your technical skills and federal financial management knowledge to work cross functionally with the technology team, and driving impactful business process improvements.

Responsibilities



  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, data teams, and clients to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges in military pay systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to evaluate project requirements, risks, and objectives, ensuring adherence to FISCAM and federal regulations, including OMB A-123, A-136, SFIS, Treasury USSGL Transactions and Definitions, GAO SFFAS, DoD FIAR Instruction, and DoD FMR.
  • Work with the technology team at various stages of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform root cause analysis to address existing issues and design optimal future-state business processes.
  • Identify and implement business process improvement opportunities to streamline operations and enhance system functionality.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of solutions that enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of military pay systems.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and clients, to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Familiarity with business process improvement, root cause analysis, and designing future-state processes.
  • Comfortable embracing and learning new data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance, if required.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.


Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Experience in military pay or financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with federal financial management and compliance standards.


Education

Bachelor's Degree

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: United States - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $140,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
