Job Summary
Assesses patient voice conditions by performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests to include, but not limited to, endoscopic, acoustic, aerodynamic and physiologic exams.
Provides voice therapy to patients using evidence-based protocols.
Routinely work with patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, and develop customized treatment plans.

Essential Functions - Assesses patient voice conditions by performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests to include, but not limited to, endoscopic, acoustic, aerodynamic and physiologic exams.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
-Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
-Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and treatment plans.
-Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
-Provide guidance and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Education
Master's Degree Speech Therapy required

Licenses and Credentials
Speech-language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology [CCC-A] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred

Experience
5 years of experience in the assessment and treatment of patients with voice disorders (Voice Specialized) including care of professional voice users (e.g., singers).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity of diagnostic assessments for voice disorders.
- Employee must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to incorporate new clinical procedures sufficiently to perform clinical services independently.
- Ability to perform functions associated with contemporary audiology and speech-language pathology scope of practice.
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Knowledge of state standards, federal and state regulations.
