The Financial Analyst-FP&A opportunity is critical toward ensuring successful execution of Ryan's corporate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting. This role serves as a trusted business partner by providing financial planning and analytical expertise to support strategic decision-making.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Partner with business leaders to create and update forecasts.

  • Deliver monthly department statements and discuss results with shared services business leaders.

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for Ryan Co, including preparation, consolidation and administrative tasks.

  • Partner with FP&A Leadership to make updates to Ryan Company's long-range plan.

  • Prepare and clearly communicate financial analyses/models to support decision-making at all levels of the company.

  • Create decision-making frameworks and analyze large volumes of data to draw meaningful conclusions and insights.

  • Drive continuous improvement within the Finance organization through sharing of best practices, standardizing processes, and problem solving.

Eligibility

Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The annual base pay is $72,000 - $92,000. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.

Candidate Requirements (Experience, knowledge, skills, education, and abilities):

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance and/or business-related field of study.

  • Advanced Excel skills and a process mindset .

  • Knowledge with intermediate finance and accounting principles.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in budgeting and reporting

  • 1-3 years' experience in financial planning & analysis with a working knowledge of GAAP.

  • Proficiency in verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Effectiveness working in a team environment.

  • The ability to analyze, problem solve and adapt to advancing technology.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Attention to detail with a strong focus on customer service and appropriate sense of urgency and judgment in varied situations.

  • The ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with team members and business leaders.

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with Enterprise systems (Oracle Hyperion PBCS, Cognos TM1, JD Edwards, SAP etc.) required.

  • Experience processing journal entries.
