Job Description:

Ryan Companies is looking for a talented, Regional Marketing Coordinator in our Southwest Region. This person will be responsible for coordination and execution of all regional internal and external branding and marketing efforts including events, promotions, public relations and communications, execution of RFQ/RFP responses. The Regional Marketing Coordinator will be based in our Phoenix office and will work directly with regional and national marketing teams that includes development, construction, architecture & engineering, real estate management and capital markets departments.

Somethings you can expect to do:

  • Coordinate and support business development and customer events, including tradeshows and industry conferences across the division.
  • Coordinate marketing projects, including site signage and fence wrap needs, groundbreaking events, grand opening events, photography and public relations
  • In coordination with national Public Relations Manager, monitor industry social media marketing strategies and tools to ensure Ryan's competitive advantage as well as executing on public relations efforts
  • CRM oversight & maintenance for accuracy of project information across regions
  • Coordinate with national marketing team for social media posts and content within regions
  • Coordinate advertising opportunities within regions
  • Coordinate holiday gift giving for local leadership teams
  • Coordinate the distribution of St. Patrick's Day and other holiday cards/gifts across regions
  • Coordinate award submittals across the division
  • In coordination with national Public Relations Manager, support national awards for projects and people
  • Execute communications such as direct mailings, e-campaigns, etc. across the division
  • Maintain project summary sheets and bios for regions
  • Interact with national and other regional marketers for branding continuity, national pursuits, and best practices
  • Under the strategic direction of the regional marketing lead, support the pursuit process:
  • Design, develop, and write RFQ/RFP responses
  • Interview project team members to create technically sound descriptions for responses to RFQ's/RFP's
  • Collaborate with sales efforts and prepare effective client presentations, interviews, sales tools, and resources as requested
  • Market research as needed
  • CRM pursuit maintenance
  • Assemble qualifications for all services/sectors
  • Create client leave-behind documents
  • Proposal tracking and hit rates
  • Graphic design support as needed
  • Attend/schedule go/no go meetings
  • Create proposal planners
  • Other duties as assigned

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent business and proposal writing skills and editing abilities

  • Intermediate graphic design skills

  • Demonstrated experience in commercial development and/or construction pursuits or high-end professional services

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Should be self-motivated with the ability to take the initiative when required yet work under direction just as well

  • Should be detail-oriented, organized, flexible, have excellent time management skills and be highly proficient at multitasking

  • Shares the Ryan values and adds to the positive fabric of the team and the Ryan culture overall

You will really stand out if you:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing or related field is required

  • Knowledge of database concepts (such as CRM systems and their uses)

  • Must be able to create, work and deliver within a defined, often short, schedule

  • Work successfully in a fast-paced team environment

  • Must be able to hold others accountable for their contributions to top quality products and proposals

  • Solid experience with the Microsoft Office suite

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite

Compensation:

The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
