Description

Overall Responsibility: To increase business and profit to the organization through development of Asset Management opportunities and the leadership of the Asset Management function.

Primary Responsibilities:



  1. Aggressively investigates and pursues opportunities for new business.
  2. Establishes and continues to maintain contacts with prospects and current clients.
  3. Act as liaison between Company and clients.
  4. Prepares and presents presentation, submittals, proposals, and RFP responses to current and prospective clients.
  5. Oversees data base management activities.
  6. Establishes standards, and quality standards and measurements for the Asset Management practice.
  7. Develops and organizes in-service training programs to familiarize staff with new and updated asset management systems techniques and methods.
  8. Directs the production of data standards, asset procedures, and presentation material.
  9. With the support of the EDI team, meets all the asset management data needs of the Company.


Secondary Responsibilities:



  1. Create opportunities for staff members who are not part of the EDI team to learn about asset management abilities and possibilities.
  2. Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

Needed Skills:



  1. Advanced knowledge of Asset Management software systems specifically IBM's Maximo Enterprise Asset Management System.
  2. Advanced knowledge of planning, design, maintenance and production of asset data and using asset management systems.
  3. Advanced knowledge of project management practices.
  4. Ability to create high-quality graphic products.
  5. Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Advanced knowledge of principles practices and methods used in asset management and maintenance standards.
  7. Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences both orally and in writing.
  8. Ability to work independently within a team environment.
  9. Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
  10. Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients and vendors.


Education/Experience Minimum:

Bachelor's Degree, preferably in engineering or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

15 years experience in utilizing Asset Management software with at least five leading teams.



  1. In possession of appropriate paperwork to gain and maintain employment in the US.
  2. Ability to meet worksite security requirements.
