Field Service Technician III

Pay / Schedule: $35/hr (doe). Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm + great opportunity for OT. At 50 hours per week, earn weekly paychecks of $1,925 gross.

1st shift 7a-3:30p with some OT to be expected (M-F)

During interview, candidate will take series of test:

Field service interview questions: more generic questions related to interviewing technicians for the field

Control Panel Questions: a quick quiz on their ability to comprehend an electrical schematic for a control panel

Wiring Diagram FS Interview: An example of a control schematic that they'll use to answer the quiz questions.

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, service, repair and maintenance of Flygt submersible pumps, controls, and support equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Dissemble, diagnose, repair, and service our Flygt pump equipment

Troubleshoot electrical systems and pump systems; repair/rebuild as necessary using computerized diagnostic tools

Troubleshoot and make electrical repairs to electrical control equipment, including electric motors, VFDs, flowmeters, and PLCs

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and service; diagnose and report any damage

Perform diagnostic checks using computer technology

Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality

Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS&S guidelines, policies, and best practices

Operate a service truck and respond to customer repair calls as needed

Perform related duties as assigned

Participation in Watermark volunteer activities

In this role, the working environment is frequently outdoors, where exposure to extreme temperatures and machinery should be expected

The physical demands may include, but are not limited to, the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more, as well as walking, sitting, and standing for 8 hours or more.

Additionally, this role may require up to 75% travel local travel, including occasional overnight stays and overtime.
