CGL is a provider of justice facility planning, design, and program management and maintenance solutions to justice facilities and other public facilities throughout the U.S. and internationally.

A Brief Overview
In this role, you will report to an Associate, Senior Associate, Senior Program Manager, Vice President, or Senior Vice President, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure the successful execution of assigned tasks. You will take on basic discipline assignments under regular supervision, contribute as a primary member on small projects, and assist on specific segments of larger projects, frequently engaging with the team to support daily operations.

What you will do




  • Assist in the preparation of reports and compile report content under supervision.



  • Support the project team with a general knowledge of construction documents and construction details.



  • Self-direct and perform assigned tasks effectively.



  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information and address less well-defined practical problems.



  • Support the Project Managers (PMs) in all aspects of project management, with daily responsibilities including:



  • Day-to-day communications, reports, and project documentation.



  • Timely updating of the project document control systems.



  • Ongoing review and management of the project budget and schedule with the project team to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion.



  • Preparation and delivery of weekly and monthly control report deliverables to the Owner.



  • Reporting requirements to the PMs, including but not limited to: Projected problem areas and recommended solutions; Issues outside the realm of responsibility or situations requiring additional staff.



  • Produce accurate work that meets all project requirements.




Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree BA/BS Required or
  • 5+ year practical experience equivalency Required and
  • in Building Sciences - Construction, Architecture, Preferred or
  • Engineering Preferred
  • 4-6 years of relevant construction services experience in field and office, Required or
  • 1-3 years of experience in Architectural or Engineering Office. Required
  • Competency in various computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint & Teams, Bluebeam.
  • Requires a detail oriented, self-starter, who takes initiative, prioritize, and multi-task in busy environment.
  • Works under close supervision and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationship with colleagues
  • Ability to prepare for client meetings under supervision
  • Developing ability to interface with clients and consultants
  • Developing ability to clearly convey ides in verbal, written, graphic, and presentation formats
  • Developing knowledge of industry terminology, laws, standards, practices, principles, and regulations
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to manage time and meet assignment/project deadlines.
  • RA Preferred or
  • PE, CCM, CFM, PMP: Preferred


Compensation

Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience.
