Technical Analyst IV - Payments/Wires

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Analyst IV to join our Payments Wires team. The successful candidate will analyze, troubleshoot, and implement technical solutions to support our payment and wire transfer operations. The Technical Analyst IV will define and perform analysis, design, programming, planning, implementation, and support for critical systems software and procedures, focusing on the long-term technology roadmap for Wires and Payments.

The Technical Analyst IV is responsible for delivering superior services acting as a liaison between the line of business and IT with a focus on end user experience such as user interfacing, user flow, data flow, and/or other UI/UX strategies. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures. Defining and performing analysis, design, programming, planning, implementation, and supporting of some of the most critical systems software and procedures with a focus on our long term technology road map which require technical and systems knowledge. The Technical Analyst manages plans, organizes, and controls projects which have an organizational impact as well as provides day-to-day support for complex applications systems.

* You will provide business line application support for Finastra's FGPP/Payment Hub application and satellite systems for all BOKF lines of business.
* You will provide business line support for Domestic & International wires and new payment rails and products.
* You will perform new customer setup and testing of new clients and changes to existing clients.
* You will write business and functional requirements for simple to complex projects.
* You will analyze, design, plan, test, and deploy complex systems software and upgrades.
* You will perform business process modeling (includes logical modeling, data retention, and business process modeling) for simple to complex projects.
* You will perform job scheduling responsibilities, including writing, reading, and troubleshooting job plans.
* You will develop simple to moderate batch scripts & stored procedures and provide technical requirements/specifications including file transfer protocols.
* You will analyze and troubleshoot issues related to payment and wire transfer systems.
* You will Implement technical solutions to enhance payment processing efficiency and accuracy.
* You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.
* You will monitor and maintain payment and wire transfer systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
* You will provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders.
* You will document technical processes, procedures, and system configurations.
* You will stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in payment processing technologies.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 5-7 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer time spent in payments or wire transfers.

* Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, wire transfer protocols (e.g., SWIFT, Fedwire), and related technologies.
* In-depth knowledge of Finastra Products, Services, and procedures with a focus on (FGPP, Total Messaging, Total Screening, IGT+, FileSwitch) or similar banking software.
* Proficiency in SQL, scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, JavaScript), database management, APIs, UNIX, Trace Financials - Transformer, MQ, Kafka, and data analysis tools.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.
* Ability to monitor transaction flows and detect potential risks.
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, and agile methodologies.
