*Job Description:*
We are seeking a skilled technician capable of installing cabling, field equipment, and control equipment enclosures in customer locations according to the National Electric Code, company, and customer guidelines. The ideal candidate will: * Use electronic test equipment to solve complex problems during installation. * Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. * Have knowledge of computer programs including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, CCTV, and access control systems. * Plan, organize, and prioritize work with close attention to detail. * Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, while establishing and maintaining coordinated working relationships. * Analyze information effectively. * Work unsupervised to complete installation jobs and be self-motivated to complete tasks. * Be responsible for the installation of complex integrated security systems, including wiring, equipment, and programming of access control systems, CCTV, digital recorders, network recorders, and intercom systems for clients. *Skills:* * Installation * Alarm systems * CCTV * Access control * Security * Alarms * Troubleshooting * Physical security * Alarm installation *Top Skills Details:* * Installation * Alarm systems * CCTV * Access control * Security * Alarms *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Significant background in digital and analog camera systems. * Experience with access control and burglar alarm systems. * Understanding of the function and design of alarm systems. * Experience with IP addressable security devices. * Advanced TCP/IP networking skills. * Computer literacy. *Experience Level:* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
