*Irving, TX* *Hybrid (3 Days in 2 Days Remote)* *12-36 Month Contract* *Description* The Active Directory (AD) Alert Monitoring Specialist is responsible for continuously monitoring and analyzing AD alerts, ensuring system integrity, identifying potential security threats, and optimizing performance. This role requires hands-on experience in incident management, investigating incidents, and collaborating with AD Engineering and AD Security teams to mitigate risks effectively. Key Responsibilities: * Required shift, 12-9pm ET Monday-Friday. * Continuously monitor Active Directory alerts, event logs, and security notifications to detect anomalies, unauthorized access, and potential security threats. * Incident Management: * Respond to and manage AD-related incidents. * Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and work with key teams and stakeholders to implement corrective actions. * Follow established incident response protocols and ensure timely resolution. * Analyze authentication failures. * Rack and report on AD replication, domain controller status, and overall AD health metrics. * Work with AD and Tools and AD Security, system administrators, and network teams as needed to ensure service availability and performance. * Ensure adherence to security policies and compliance requirements by maintaining accurate logs and generating periodic reports. *Skills* * Group Policy * Active Directory * Active Directory Administration * Troubleshooting * Powershell Scripting * Powershell Automation * Application Support * Windows Engineering * Access Management * Infrastructure Engineering *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Required Skills: * At least 5-10 years of dedicated Active Directory operational support signing, implementing and maintaining complex enterprise level (50K+ objects) Active Dir * PowerShell scripting experience and capabilities * MS SQL/DB knowledge * Microsoft or 3rd party management and monitoring solutions (SCCM, SCOM, VCM, NetIQ GPDH/GPA) * Unix/Linux skills; Vintela VAS integration; RedHat IdM *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
