JOB SUMMARY The department is looking to hire a full time Medical Aesthetician to work in the Plastic Surgery Clinic. The candidate must be a self-starter who can work well with a team of aestheticians, medical staff and surgeons in a fast-paced Plastic Surgery Clinic. Friendly and professional, patient customer service skills. Previous experience with laser and light modalities, chemical peels, skin care products, microneedling, and facial treatments to meet the skin care goals of reconstruction and cosmetic patients highly preferred. JOB DUTIES
- Performs various skin care treatments including, but not limited to:
Skin Care Consultation
- Evaluation of the skin type, treatment options
- Develops individual skin care regiment
Advanced Treatments - Provides variety of peels such as Micro, Jessner, ZO - 3 step, My Body probiotic
- Oxygenating facial
- Skin Pen
- Lymphatic drainage massage for face and neck
Laser Treatment - Variety of laser treatment such as IPL, 532, Duet, laser hair removal
Waxing - Upper lip, full face, brow, bikini, legs
Tinting - Brow tint
- Lash tint
- Provides skin care consultations; develops individual skin care regimen and teaches necessary skills to ensure best results.
- Aestheticians provide laser treatment and application of the restorative makeup.
- Assist physicians with cosmetic product consultation with the patients.
- Duties performed may include one or more of the following core functions: (a) Directly interacting with or caring for patients; (b) Directly interacting with or caring for human-subjects research participants; (c) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting patient records (including patient financial records); or (d) Regularly maintaining, modifying, releasing or similarly affecting human-subjects research records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
