Pay is depending on experience. Starting rate is $124,527/annually ($4,789.50/biweekly).

As the Director of Compliance, you'll oversee the Bank's entire Compliance Management System and lead the charge in maintaining compliance with the FDIC, State of Alaska regulations, and other governing bodies. Your role will empower you to:

• Lead the Compliance Program - Develop, implement, and maintain a top-tier compliance management system that keeps us ahead of regulatory changes.

• Risk Management Extraordinaire - Conduct regular risk assessments and lead mitigation strategies to keep us in the green!

• Regulatory Guru - Provide expert interpretation and guidance on all applicable regulations, ensuring all employees, vendors, and new products stay fully compliant.

• Culture Shifter - Promote a risk-aware culture and be a trusted advisor to various departments, encouraging best practices throughout the organization.

• Training & Development Leader - Oversee compliance training and ensure everyone is up-to-date on their certifications and courses.

We're looking for someone who thrives in the ever-changing world of banking regulations and who loves to take on challenges. Here's what we expect:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• At least 10 years of experience in a compliance department at a regulated financial institution (banking experience a must!).

• Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Experience working with military education/experience is a plus.

Skills & Expertise:

• Communication - You'll need to convey complex regulations in a clear, relatable way to all levels of the organization.

• Analytical - You're skilled at assessing complex problems and providing solutions based on data and analysis.

• Leadership - Strong ability to mentor and motivate teams while ensuring compliance goals are met.

• Technical - Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with data analysis software.
