Job Description

The Enterprise Project/Program Management Consultant II is accountable for leading all aspects of multiple low/medium complexity projects.

This role manages, with some support of a more senior project/program manager, projects that have a low/medium level of risk, organizational span, business complexity, team size, and interdependencies.

This role also supports administrative and operations functions within the Government and Industry Relations business area within Law and Regulation Key Responsibilities
  • Plans and implements all aspects of projects or programs
  • Drives project execution
  • Drives achievement of project or program success factors
  • Achieves desired business results by thoroughly understanding business objectives
  • Customizes solutions for project issues
  • Coordinates, documents, and communicates project plans and requirements
  • Assesses and reports health of all projects in an objective manner, maintains project transparency and accurate status; keeps managers and business areas informed
  • Engages appropriate stakeholders in risk identification and mitigation
  • Provides direction and oversight throughout project lifecycle to project team to meet applicable business requirements
  • Provides administration support, including scheduling and other ad-hoc operations functions as required
  • Role is considered "hybrid" within the Washington, D.C. location that requires attendance at the Washington D.C. Allstate office at least 3 days per week (or as needed)
Education
  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
  • Experience in Government Affairs Industry (Preferred)
Experience

* 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $52,260.00 - 92,790.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
