 Essential Job Responsibilities: 
 Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations, permits, authorizations, and agreements.Provide knowledge and expertise across all environmental media and programs, including Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and applicable waste management requirements.Participate in the project planning and development through all stages to facilitate communication of project impacts between all stakeholders.Familiar with state and federal air compliance permitting/programs (Title V, MACT, NESHAP, etc)Manages consultants as required in the development of specialized permitting (air, water, waste)Coordinates routine compliance inspections with operations for air permits and participates in external audits as requiredMaintains files for air permits and compliance reportingServes as a member of the company's emergency response team and be involved in the spill management program.Investigates accidents to ascertain causes for use in recommending preventive safety measures, corrective actions, and developing safety program.Adheres to the company's values - integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation.Supports company vision and mission.Adheres to established work schedule, attendance standards and is punctual to work and meetings.Perform other duties as assigned.  Develop tools and templates to manage the collection of environmental compliance informationAbility to be available 24hrs per day (on call questions, emergencies, etc)Files and maintains regional Tier II reportsFamiliar with SPCC plans and implement SPCC program at regional levelOther duties as assigned by management Qualifications: 
 3+ years related work experience in an environmental specialist/compliance role is typical for this position, but years in the position is not as relevant as the application of knowledge and experiencePreferred: Oil & Gas, Petro Chemical, or midstream experienceExperience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable softwareExperience interacting, advising, negotiating, and communicating effectivelyKnowledge of: state and federal environmental regulations and standards and their applicability to operationsAbility to: analyze, research, compile, and prepare permit applications, logs, reports, and correspondence and company responses to agency requestsAbility to: evaluate, research, and interpret governmental regulations, equipment performance manuals, regulatory agency guidance and instructions, reports, correspondence, and company policies and proceduresAbility to: apply math, algebraic formulas, calculus, and statisticsAbility to: communicate and/or exchange informationAbility to: communicate effectively through the development of written communication that applies fundamental technical writing skillsAbility to: operate tools and equipment requiredAbility to: collect environmental field samples (air, water, and waste) for analysis Education Requirements:
