Job Summary

The eCommerce Applications Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the online presence, pricing strategies, and customer-facing eCommerce applications for multiple brands. This role spans across front-end websites, storefronts, buy-flows, and all customer-facing digital applications where eCommerce is enabled. The eCommerce Applications Analyst will work closely with internal teams to enhance pricing management, product positioning, and online revenue growth, while ensuring alignment with broader business goals. This role serves as a liaison between corporate and regional marketing teams, supporting web development, documentation, and technical requirements related to eCommerce operations.

A Day in the Life of the eCommerce Applications Analyst:



  • Work cross-functionally with teams including Billing, IT, Marketing, Networking, and Pricing to identify and prioritize eCommerce initiatives, system requirements, and pricing changes impacting websites and online revenue streams.
  • Manage multiple eCommerce platforms across various brands. Prioritize and meet deadlines related to marketing and revenue goals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Partner with local and corporate marketing teams to conduct competitive analysis, tracking pricing against performance data, and define best practices for the organization.
  • Take proactive steps in configuring pricing, optimizing product positioning, and ensuring accuracy across all web properties. Manage promotions and track campaign effectiveness.
  • Guide testing and quality assurance for pricing and promotional elements. Ensure a high level of accuracy and optimal customer experience to maximize sales.
  • Interface with the IT department of eCommerce system builds and releases to ensure resource optimization.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements for eCommerce management, and document business and functional specifications for all eCommerce systems.
  • Support initiatives aimed at driving revenue, promoting products/services, and enhancing the online customer experience through effective buy-flow processes and customer behavior analysis.
  • Regularly audit pricing and positioning across eCommerce systems to ensure accuracy and best possible presentation to consumers.
  • Contribute to strategic planning sessions and bring forward fresh ideas, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements/Qualifications

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field required


What you Bring to the Table:



  • 3-5 years of experience working with eCommerce applications, pricing engines, billing systems, and transactional websites.
  • 1-3 years of experience in systems or software configuration and data management.
  • Minimum of 1 year of project management experience in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven experience with online pricing management, optimization, and analyzing consumer shopping trends.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Solid writing, editing, and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Digital, IT, Marketing, and Sales teams.
  • Solid interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationships with remote teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in an Agile Development Environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Knowledge of relational databases, data, and pricing structures.
  • Proficient in the utilization of all the Microsoft Office Suite programs, including, but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

Base Salary: The base salary range in NY, MA, VA, PA, DC, IL, and NJ for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 annually plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to NY, MA, VA, PA, DC, IL, and NJ and may not be applicable to other locations.
