cisco routers, Cisco switches, WiFi, OT *Top Skills Details* cisco routers, Cisco switches, WiFi *Description* seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-Level Network Engineer who thrives in a hands-on role. The candidate will support the company's split network infrastructure, including Brocade Ruckus switches and Wi-Fi systems, as well as Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches in the core distribution layer. This individual will configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices, ensuring optimal functionality and performance across corporate and process control networks. The ideal candidate will be passionate about networking, enjoy problem-solving, and excel in optimizing existing setups without frequent distractions or meetings. They will play a critical role in ensuring stable and compliant network operations within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: 1. Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches and interfaces. 2. Resolving one-off Wi-Fi issues in a complex network environment. 3. Managing a split infrastructure consisting of Brocade Ruckus and Cisco systems. 4. Supporting PCN networks in manufacturing, while maintaining controlled states. 5. Applying knowledge of the OSI model to address network issues effectively. 6. Conducting packet captures (pcap) to diagnose and resolve complex problems. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 1. Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA) to demonstrate foundational expertise. 2. Familiarity with operational technology (OT) in manufacturing settings. 3.Experience with firewalls and securing networks in multi-layered setups *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
