Job Overview: The Change Management Consultant will ensure successful project delivery by driving employee adoption and engagement with change initiatives, making surethat goals are met on schedule and within budget. This role will focus on managing the human side of change, including shifts in business processes, technology, systems, and job roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute change management strategies that drive employee adoption, usage, and minimize resistance to change.

  • Accelerate the adoption, utilization, and proficiency of changes impacting employees.

  • Provide direct support and coaching to managers and supervisors at all levels, assisting them as they guide their teams through transitions.

  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate change management activities into project timelines and plans.

  • Engage stakeholders and communicate change initiatives to ensure awareness, buy-in, and support.

  • Track, report, and manage issues, risks, and performance indicators related to change management efforts.

  • Design and implement feedback mechanisms, such as surveys, to evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in change management.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to anticipate the needs of business partners.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent active listening abilities.

  • Strong ability to tailor messages for different audiences clearly and effectively.

  • Skilled in building and maintaining positive relationships.

  • Adaptable and flexible in dealing with ambiguous situations.

  • Resilient with a determined mindset, able to navigate challenges.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and lifecycle phases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing large-scale technology transformations and developing communication strategies.

  • Expertise in creating and executing communication plans and materials, including emails, town halls, and other formats.

  • Proficiency in delivering presentations to various organizational levels, including leadership, for project kick-offs, updates, and key communications.

  • Experience designing and executing comprehensive training plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop a broad range of training materials, including job aids, live sessions, and recorded content.

  • Ability to create targeted communications and training materials for diverse skill levels.

  • Experience in retail or similar industries, with an understanding of sector-specific challenges and opportunities.

Education:

  • A degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Change management certification or designation is a plus.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
