Sr. React Developer (Hybrid)

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in React.JS, Redux, Node, and React Libraries. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different development enterprise level web applications. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company's mission.

Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ- USA.

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

The Onsite position must be at the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing UI components using React.js, unit testing using React Test Library, JEST.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across various web browsers.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure smooth user experiences.
  • Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA degree or an equivalent 8+ years of IT experience in React.js, Redux, Node and React libraries.
  • Unit testing using React Test Library, JEST.
  • Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 skills.
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux).
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens.
  • Understanding of front-end build tools and pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Salary and compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337K - $141,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
