*Job Description: Physical Security Operations*
*Administrator* * * *Top Skills - Must Haves:* * *Physical Security Systems:* Understanding how they operate and communicate with each other, including remote troubleshooting of camera systems, phone systems, and designing/implementing security systems. * *Project Management:* Experience leading projects or being heavily involved from start to finish. * *Asset Management:* Managing brass key and electronic key systems, security storeroom assets, and inventory of all field assets. * *Customer Service:* Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment involving phone, text, and email. * *Troubleshooting/Programing:* Conducting troubleshooting and programming of physical security systems by remotely accessing systems and making adjustments. * * *Secondary Skills - Nice to Haves:* * Low Voltage license and/or licensed as an electrical administrator. * Working knowledge of physical security design methodology such as "depth in defense" concepts. * Prior project management experience. * Proficient in low voltage wiring (including wiring readers, door contacts, cameras, inputs, and outputs). * Working knowledge of the utility industry and operations. * * *Responsibilities:* * Responsible for triaging new service needs, scheduling service, and coordinating the testing of physical security devices, including CCTV systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, ground-based radar, and other security systems used by the Physical Security team. * Establishes preventative maintenance schedules and may assist Security Technicians in accomplishing the testing. * Coordinates service and maintenance work performed on physical security devices by third-party vendors and verifies all associated vendor invoices. * Conducts troubleshooting of physical security systems by remotely accessing systems and making adjustments. * Coordinates the routes and repair schedules for Security Technicians. * Experience scheduling, dispatching, and routing service technicians. * Experience in inventory management of field devices and stock inventory. * Experience in installation or service/maintenance of alarm devices. * Makes recommendations for program direction and improvements to management. * Oversees the functions of the physical security preventative maintenance and service programs. * Represents all Physical Security Operations teams' interests in project meetings to ensure new builds are set up in a way that the program can support post installation. * Supports physical access management through an understanding of the system, methods, and procedures. * Responsible for Brass and Electronic Key (E-key) issuance, inventory, and tracking. * Manages the inventory of the Physical Security Operations storeroom, ensuring stock is accounted for and refilled as needed. * Ensures that the Physical Security Service Technician's service trucks are stocked with required tools and equipment. * Manages inventory of deployed security equipment including install dates, testing dates, and end-of-life replacements. * Performs other duties as assigned. * * *Minimum Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:* * HS diploma or GED equivalent. * At least two (2) years' experience/knowledge of the concepts, characteristics, and capabilities of physical security systems, equipment, and devices. * At least two (2) years' experience/knowledge of the operation of multi-camera video surveillance and recording systems, equipment, and devices. * Two (2) years demonstrated experience in understanding how physical security systems integrate with other systems, monitoring centers, or security operations centers. *Employee Value Proposition (EVP):* Looking for someone who wants this role to be a career. Driving bottom line. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
