As a Procurement Senior Analyst, you will enable the business to improve category spend by collecting and analyzing data from various sources. You will provide visibility into total spend activities across properties, departments, and suppliers while identifying opportunities for cost reduction. Your work will directly support decision-making and strategy development, ensuring data accuracy and zero-defect analytics. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Analyze company supply chain data from invoices, payments, general ledger, and inventory systems to support spending analytics and cost-benefit analysis. Develop and program analytical reports using BI tools such as Power BI. Utilize database languages (e.g., SQL, VBA) to build processes and tools that support business analysis requirements. Identify data issues and work with stakeholders to implement solutions. Partner with Procurement and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to provide financial analyses, forecasts, and business cases for category strategy. Track and report supply chain metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), responding to scheduled and ad hoc requests. Ensure data accuracy and maintain the integrity of all analyses and reports. Collect and categorize spend and supplier performance data to support category-level strategies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative or business related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ Years of prior relevant experience in an analytical role. Experience in procurement, sourcing analytics, or finance. Familiarity with spend categories (e.g., F&B, Professional Services, Facilities, IT). Proficiency with procurement systems (Stratton Warren, Oracle, Coupa) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, pivot tables). Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Ability to self-manage and deliver accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment. Customer service mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
