Job Summary

Plans, organizes, leads and controls all areas of manufacturing. Responsible to focus on the manufacturing operation performance measures to achieve operational goals (Safety, Quality, Schedule Attainment, Delivery, Productivity, Budget, and Training Matrix). Coaches and develops managers to strengthen leadership capabilities and enhance decision-making skills. Builds high performing teams by fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement. Drives talent development initiatives to cultivate skills, boost engagement, and support career growth within the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:



  • Manages the assigned manufacturing plant's operational and fiscal activities.
  • Oversees assigned manufacturing plant's equipment and associate capacity planning in order to determine and execute production plan schedule. In addition, oversees the evaluation of ideal plant layout in order to enhance safety and efficiency.
  • Evaluates the hiring, performance management, training, and staffing of assigned manufacturing plant leadership positions.
  • Oversees the maintenance of the manufacturing plant's skills matrix, planning of needed skills requirements, and the deployment of the training rotation schedule. Responsible for following up on deficiencies and for the accuracy of the data.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of new hire orientations, work guidelines and instructions.
  • Monitors Inventory Control and Safety statistics and collaborate with Risk Management department to implement corrective actions.
  • Participates in the company's Quality Management System (QMS) program and partners with other department leaders in developing recommended actions.
  • Supports the Product Launch and Manufacturing Support departments in the deployment of new items, technologies or processes.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and urgency while managing multiple priorities.
  • Drive the implementation of lean practices to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize operations.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, quality, and overall plant performance.
  • Leads Kaizen initiatives to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Oversees the implementation of MES systems to enhance production monitoring, data accuracy, and process optimization.


WHAT IS REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical or analytical field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 6 years progressive manufacturing experience.
  • 5 years progressive managerial experience.
  • Advanced team building and development skills.
  • Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to various work locations as business need requires.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Project Management experience.
