About the Role

The Applications Engineer - Q-DAS will be responsible for the delivery and support of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence's Q-DAS products, ensuring seamless implementation and integration for customers. This role involves software installation, database configuration, interface setup, and ongoing customer support to optimize manufacturing intelligence solutions.

Job Responsibilities
What You'll Do

* Configure and set up databases for Q-DAS software solutions.

* Perform software installation and ensure proper system functionality.

* Establish interfaces with gauges and other data sources to ensure seamless integration.

* Customize and configure user interfaces and system option settings for optimal performance.

* Provide on-site and remote support to assist customers during their ramp-up phase.

* Develop architecture documentation and instructional materials for end users.

Qualifications

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively.

* Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously.

* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and professional growth.

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality assurance and data analysis.

* Understanding of gauging and machine manufacturing principles.

* Knowledge of statistical principles and their application in manufacturing processes.

* Hands-on experience with Windows networking and IT infrastructure.

* Familiarity with database applications and data management techniques.

Work Environment

* Primarily an office setting, with occasional visits to customer sites or factory floors.

* Regular use of computers, office equipment, and communication tools.

* Occasional travel may be required (up to X%).
