PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $152,300.00-$186,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $118,200.00 - $220,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance. We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan. Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. To join our dynamic team, we require candidates to be residents of WA, OR, ID, AZ, TX, GA, or SC. If you're located in Washington state and within a reasonable driving distance from Tukwila, we are requesting that you come into our HQ on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.For those candidates that live outside the commute distance of TFC and in any of our approved remote work locations, this role will be remote. Remote or onsite, we are committed to ensuring you are fully engaged and included in our collaborative environment.

As an Enterprise Program Manager at BECU, you'll be the driving force behind high-impact, complex programs that span multiple teams and strategic initiatives. Your ability to confidently engage with executive leaders, uncover insights through deep research, and maintain momentum through ambiguity will define your success. You'll serve as a trusted partner to our executive management team-helping connect vision with execution while leading cross-functional teams with clarity, accountability, and heart. WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own Complex Programs: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives with strategic focus, prioritization, and executional excellence.
  • Communicate with Impact: Present updates and insights clearly to senior leaders and executive stakeholders, enabling informed decisions.
  • Lead Through Ambiguity: Apply curiosity and research skills to solve complex problems when clear answers aren't available.
  • Build Stakeholder Trust: Serve as an accountable, service-oriented partner who drives progress and supports shared goals.
  • Shape Program Direction: Gather and refine requirements iteratively while establishing and evolving governance frameworks.
  • Ensure Outcome Alignment: Define and track business outcomes across projects, ensuring each aligns with program goals.
  • Guide Cross-Functional Teams: Lead teams through planning, delivery, and execution while managing priorities and momentum.
  • Oversee Financials & Resources: Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource planning across all workstreams.
  • Coordinate Vendors & Timelines: Oversee external partners, contracts, schedules, and program-level impacts.
  • Manage Risk & Dependencies: Identify, communicate, and mitigate program risks, issues, and interdependencies.
  • Drive Change & Readiness: Lead communication, release, and adoption strategies while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Mentor & Uplift Teams: Coach junior PMs and team members to foster a high-performing project culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent work or educational experience required.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading large-scale, enterprise and technology programs and projects, including 2 years of cross-functional process improvement and team mentorship required.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding teams, providing performance feedback, and managing project execution using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously required.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard project management tools required.
  • Active involvement in professional organizations related to change management, technology, and program leadership is a plus.

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Project Management (PMP) and Agile certifications (CSM, ACP) preferred.
