Commercial Private Banking-Associate Relationship Manager

SUMMARY: The primary goal of the Commercial Private Banking - Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) position is to support the sales and service objectives of the Commercial Private Banking Sales team. Further, to serve in a development role to transition to that of a Relationship Manager in the future.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

  • Responsible for supporting CPB Sales Team with Client on-boarding, implementation, and ongoing support.
  • Liaison between Sales Team and Operations Team to facilitate communication regarding Client needs.
  • Assists in the cross selling of bank products and services to the existing client base.
  • Prepares sales presentations, packages, and folders for sales team.
  • Ships and receives documentation, statements, and other client correspondence.
  • Composes a variety of client letters using appropriate and professional business language and handles incoming mail.
  • Sets clients up with Internet Banking and other alternative delivery services.
  • Troubleshoots client issues as needed.
  • Prepares power-point presentations and excel spreadsheets as needed in support of managers.
  • Organizes and maintains a file system and files correspondence and other records.
  • Maintains ongoing communications with Operation Specialists and Treasury Service partners on any pending service issues and or account opening and onboarding
  • Answers and screens telephone calls for CPB Bankers and arranges conference calls if applicable.
  • Researches, compiles, stores and retrieves data for presentation of reports. May prepare statistical reports.
  • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepare agendas, reserve and prepare records and transcribe notes of meetings.
  • Contributes to the team effort to accomplish results.
  • Assists CPB Bankers and CPB -Team Leader with various projects.
  • Assists CPB Operations Manager and Support Associates
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in business related field desirable
EXPERIENCE

  • At least two years' experience as a commercial support associate or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience in bank customer service capacity, dealing with a national client base preferred
