Meet the TeamAs a Component Demand Planner, you will be a member of the Component Demand Planning team working with a range of people across the Business Unit, Finance, Global Planning, Central Material & Fulfillment, Product Operations, and Global Supplier Management internally in Supply Chain. You will interact closely with the Global Supplier Management & Product Operations team to create effective component forecasts and transition plans. Supply Chain Operations are located across the US, Europe, and Asia, providing an opportunity to collaborate with a global team. Your counterparts, leaders and teammates will all consider you a strategic professional with strong ability to collaborate with partners at various levels in the organization and with a strong ability to influence and persuade stakeholders for new initiatives. Your ImpactWe are looking for a knowledgeable and highly analytical supply chain professional who has a strong background in forecasting/demand planning - with a solid understanding of how to combine information from Product Operations, Finance, Global Supplier Management, Marketing and sophisticated analytics to build the best possible forecast. As a Component Demand Planner, you will play a significant role in translating the product forecast into the component level and explaining how that impacts our supply chain partners and improving the value of the extended demand signal that will drive strategic sourcing, network design, and roadmap decisions.
