What We DoUnder minimal supervision, perform compliance, accounting, planning, and research functions. Candidate should possess proven knowledge and application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Income Tax law.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare workpapers for corporate, partnership, and other tax compliance reporting, including extensions, estimated payments, and other tax forms. Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns using tax compliance software. Research tax issues impacting the Company and affiliates, and reports findings to the Tax Manager/Director. Prepare quarterly and annual tax provision workpapers reflecting current tax law and accounting principles, and assist the Tax Manager/Director in resolving deferred tax and financial statement presentation issues. Assist in the production of preliminary tax footnotes for quarterly and year-end financial reports, including analysis of trends and variances, and calculate deferred taxes and effective tax rates. Assist the Tax Manager/Director in providing technical information, advice, and support to internal departments regarding various tax matters. Assist with financial statement audits and examinations by federal, state, and local tax authorities, including gathering and preparation of support documentation and research into audit and exam findings. Resolve tax notices received from federal, state, and local taxing authorities, including research into issues, preparation of written responses, and oral communication. Execute special projects and all other duties as assigned by the Tax Manager/Director. KEY COMPETENCIES:

This is a Hybrid role from Santa Ana, Ca. The pay range for this role is $82,925.00 - $110,525.00 This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
