About the team

We are now seeking an experienced Director of Product Management to lead the team of PMs focused on critical HCP core features and services. This is a crucial role overseeing our enterprise IAM, logging, and other core capabilities which support our customers as well as Hashicorp secure and infrastructure products.

As a manager on the Platform PM team, you will be responsible for leading strategy and delivery on strategic and business critical HCP initiatives. You will mentor and grow a talented team of product managers. You will partner with senior leadership, cross functional partners,l stakeholders, and customers to set the strategy, define the roadmap, and manage execution to deliver enterprise platform solutions in driving impactful business outcomes.

What you'll do (responsibilities)



  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high performance culture
  • Own the strategic vision and roadmap for Hashicorp Cloud Platform, focusing on enterprise customer needs for reliability, security, and compliance
  • Craft the product story and opportunities for improvement by understanding market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and HashiCorp principles
  • Partner with executive leadership to align product goals with business objectives
  • Define and track KPIs to measure platform performance
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Ops to create and improve process to support team delivery
  • Set clear goals, measure outcomes, and continuously optimize team performance
  • Communicate product performances and insights to stakeholders


What you'll need (basic qualifications)



  • 15+ years of product management experience with developer products
  • 5+ years of managing a team of product managers
  • Demonstrated success delivering and scaling delightful cloud products or platforms cross-functionally
  • Deep knowledge of the enterprise cloud platform space and market needs
  • High levels of customer empathy and a passion for using data to drive and demonstrate product success
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong verbal, written, visual communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.

The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$233,800 - $275,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in California (excluding SF Bay Area), New York (excluding NYC), Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, Washington D.C., or Maryland is:
$214,300 - $252,100 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro), Illinois, Minnesota, or Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$194,800 - $229,200 USD
