MAC-FITNESS STAFF

General Purpose of Job:

Assist members in safe and correct use of cardiovascular and strength machines. Ensure that all equipment is in safe and working condition.

Essential Duties:

This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Associates may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.

• Perform club orientations
• Greet members and provide assistance with fitness equipment, general club questions and other needs.
• Maintain weight room area by racking weights and returning equipment to it's proper place
• Perform proactive testing of equipment.
• Clean machines, discard trash and dirty towels as needed.
• Enforce all MAC policies in areas of responsibility including, kids under 13, shirts & shoes, working in on machines, etc.
• Ensure safety of members in fitness areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
