Job Summary -Oversight of Instrument and Controls Maintenance group. -Providing technical and administrative direction to the teams supervisors. -Providing an adequate level of trained and qualified personnel to implement the required maintenance activities. -Ensuring team activities are performed in accordance with the applicable site procedures. -Approving the training and qualification of team personnel. -Approval of Maintenance procedures. -Responsible for managing their respective areas/systems through the team Supervisors who direct the day-to-day activities of their personnel. -Ensuring maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures, instructions, policies and regulations. Job Description Key Accountabilities * Provide oversight, technical & administrative direction, and professional development for 30+ craft and supervisor personnel. * Manage a multi- million dollar budget to include allocation of funding for all I&C Maintenance contracts including resources and critical on-boarding. * Oversee & assist in the administration of I&C training & qualification program. * Manage special projects as requested by the Maintenance Director. * Development & approval of I&C Maintenance guidelines & procedures. * Respond & reconcile emergent work activities as deemed necessary by Operations Management. * Owner and administrator of the site Rigging & Lifting program. * Ensure maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with applicable procedures, instructions, policies and regulations. * Professional Interface with outside entities such as NRC, INPO, & NSRB. Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements * Four years related Maintenance experience. * Two years nuclear power plant experience. During the two years, the individual shall have participated in supervisory or management activities of an operating nuclear power plant. * Six months on-site experience. Key Metrics * Maintain I&C Maintenance spending within budget. * Ensure the proper number of qualified personnel to perform mechanical tasks are maintained. * Perform quality maintenance with a goal of <1 rework item per year attributed craftsmanship or human performance. * No plant shutdowns, load reductions, or trips due to I&C maintenance for the fuel cycle.
