Are you interested in developing into a future leader? Georgia Pacific's Brunswick Cellulose Facility is seeking a Fiber Line Shift Supervisor for the Fiber Line department to lead our hourly operations team to meet safety, environmental, quality, production, and team development goals. In this position, you will learn and develop your management skills for future leadership opportunities. Our Team The Georgia-Pacific Brunswick Cellulose mill manufactures softwood fluff pulps. Our products are used primarily in absorbent products such as diapers and hygiene products. What You Will Do * Lead and develop the hourly workforce by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet safety, environmental, quality, and production goals. * Supervise and coordinate production efforts of the Fiber Line that drive improvement in all associated work processes - environmental health & safety, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and cost. * Facilitate team development and growth, and employee skill development. * Engage in problem-solving and root cause analysis. * Drive safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively eliminate hazards. * Coordinate with other department supervisors to maximize mill production and efficiency. * Coordinate work for shift maintenance personnel. * Work a rotating 12-hour schedule (DuPont Schedule). Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Experience working in an industrial, manufacturing, oil & energy, chemical, or military environment. * Pulp and paper manufacturing industry experience. What Will Put You Ahead * Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. * Experience in Fiber Line/pulp mill operations/engineering. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
