JOB SUMMARY

The Client Services Provider position reports to the Program Director and is responsible for providing supervision, monitoring, and support to participants at our permanent supportive housing program. This role may include transporting residents to and from appointments as needed and visit various program sites. Staff providing transportation must possess a valid ID and be approved by HR to operate company vehicles.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Ensure constant visual supervision and oversight of residents and facility operations.
  2. Document resident behaviors, lease/ code of conduct violations and crisis incidents in appropriate logs and shift memos.
  3. Provide residents with transportation to essential appointments.
  4. Support with life skills training and assistance to residents.
  5. Assist residents in organizing and cleaning their apartments when necessary.
  6. Perform some filing and other general office duties.
  7. Perform routine unit and facility checks and inspections as outlined in the "HUD Housing Quality Standards".
  8. Perform light routine maintenance duties as needed.
  9. Conduct routine home visits to ensure safety and cleanliness of units. Report any areas or units in need of maintenance or repairs to the Program Director.
  10. Respond to crisis situations in accordance to training provided by the agency.
  11. Think and act quickly and efficiently in emergencies.
  12. Will drive on Agency business as needed.
  13. Physical presence at the program is required during scheduled shifts.


ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS



  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Current certified training in emergency first aid procedures preferred.
  3. Maintain Housing Quality Standard Certification and monthly supporting training hours.
  4. Ensure each unit is safe, decent and sanitary and meets HQS as stipulated by HUD.
  5. Work effectively and professionally with program clients and co-workers, including clients with alcohol/drug or mental health problems and children.
  6. Legibly, accurately and appropriately document communications, behaviors and routine facility events as they occur.
  7. Count and record census in the log if required.
  8. Perform routine inspection of facility grounds.
  9. Regularly observe the apartment grounds for the safety of children and adults on site.
  10. Ability to work overtime as required.
  11. Ability to work in an environment where there could be children of all ages and maintain a safe environment.
  12. Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, Office 365, Teams, Zoom and other communication/meeting platforms.
  13. Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a dependable means of transportation that is properly insured and operated in accordance with all laws. Agency insurer authorization is required.
  14. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  15. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
