JOB SUMMARY

Develop and implement pricing and yield management strategies that maximize revenue within Sun Country's scheduled air business unit.

  • Pricing Analyst:
  • Monitor competitive marketplace and executive appropriate pricing actions based on market performance and strategic plan
  • File fares and rules across distribution channels, ensuring accuracy in terms of fare amount, travel/ticket dates, and other relevant fare rules and restrictions
  • Coordinate with Marketing team to develop email and other promotional activities focused on achieving revenue targets
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for assigned markets, including new routes as they are added to the schedule
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management team to ensure alignment in market strategies
  • Communicate relevant Sun Country and competitor pricing actions to Revenue Management team along with senior leadership
  • Utilize PowerBI reporting to analyze booking trends and implement pricing changes to maximize unit revenue
  • Design and execute controlled fare tests to study customer price elasticity of demand
  • Identify and assist in implementation of improved business processes and procedures
  • Prepare market reviews (post departure and forward looking) and present to senior management
  • Other duties as assigned+

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research, Business Administration, Science & Engineering) or equivalent combination of education / experience
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • PowerBI
  • Ability to work independently within a fast paced, target driven environment


PREFERRED SKILLS



  • Travel industry experience
  • Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
  • Possess the ability to think laterally and make decisions


WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones photocopiers, filing cabinets.
