GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Director - HRBP will develop and own HR strategies forEssilorLuxottica corporate departments across various locations. The ideal candidate will be integral part of the cross-functional HR team and be able to lead in high growth and fast paced business within a highly complex matrixed to vertically integrated (design to distribution) organization. The Human Resources Senior Director will be critical in leading and advising through key HR and change management initiatives aimed at enabling EssilorLuxottica's workforce.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Guides the leadership team through organizational development and change management initiatives including organization design, evolution, development, etc.
  • Plans, designs and organizes the HR function to deliver the full array of HR services and support to the business. Actively pursues knowledge of business practices, policies, organization structure, roles and responsibilities to better understand the business.
  • Develops talent strategy for corporate operations to ensure proper positioning for future growth. Leads the development and ongoing management of a culture that supports high performance to deliver on long-term goals
  • Identifies designs and delivers the necessary development programs and training opportunities that ensure employees can meet current & future performance standards and business requirements.
  • Leads the implementation of performance management tools within the organization while providing strategic leadership to drive change and improvement in its areas of opportunity, as well as execution of talent review and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensures alignment between individual, business unit, and corporate practices and serves as a credible activist, operational executor, and business ally at all levels of the company.
  • Leverages the COEs as necessary and builds relationships to ensure HR presence with employees at all levels.
  • Develops/enhances HR practices & policies to support and meet the compliance requirements, while ensuring compliance with State and Federal law, corporate guidelines and practices.
  • Operates as a Human Resources business partner and coach/consultant Leaders to achieve business strategy.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field,
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience with 5 years in a leadership role.
  • HR Generalist experience, with demonstrated history of working cross-culturally and within a matrix organization
  • Experience in organizational design and effectiveness to drive results.
  • Experience with coaching, facilitation, employment law and leadership
  • Experience with Retail/Corporate environments
  • Demonstrated business acumen: intellectually curious about organizational systems, business strategies and emerging industry trends, with a verifiable track record of success partnering with management
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking: able to envision, distill, communicate, develop and implement short and long-term human resource/change management initiatives.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Technologically astute and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Strong project management skills



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Master's degree in HR or related field and SHRM or HRCI certification, desired.

Pay Range: 193,799.60-283,673.60

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
