Now Hiring: Part-Time and Full-Time Servers - Serve Up Great Experiences!

Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront is looking for friendly, energetic, and service-minded Part-Time and Full-Time Servers to join our team. If you love creating great dining experiences, enjoy engaging with guests, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you!

What You'll Be Doing:

Welcoming guests with a warm greeting and presenting the menu.
Informing guests of daily specials and any menu changes.
Recommending food and beverages while upselling when possible.
Taking orders accurately on order pads or a handheld POS system.
Delivering food and drinks promptly while ensuring a great dining experience.
Responding quickly to guest requests and ensuring satisfaction.
Properly opening and pouring wine at the tableside.
Handling payments, issuing receipts, and balancing transactions at the end of the shift.
Assisting with light cleaning, restocking, and maintaining a tidy dining area.
Working closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Understanding and promoting hotel products and services.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Previous experience in a server or customer service role preferred.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
A team player who values guest satisfaction.
Some familiarity with basic cooking skills is a plus.
