The General Government Information Technology Delivery Center is seeking a motivated, energized individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be a strategic partner with several agencies and manage high-profile, commonwealth-wide information technology projects. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Business Relationship Manager/IT Executive manages the IT portfolio of assigned clients. This role is a combination of business relationship management, portfolio management, and project management responsibilities. Primary functions of this position include:
- Conducting IT strategic planning with assigned customers
- Coordinating customers overall IT portfolio
- Directly managing specific IT projects and initiatives
- Facilitating IT procurement processes to purchase software, hardware, or services in compliance with Commonwealth processes and policies
- Ensuring customers' priorities for new or changed products and services, in alignment with desired business outcomes, are effectively established and articulated
- Assisting with resource management and prioritization of needs
- Ensuring conflicting stakeholder requirements are mediated appropriately
- Handling stakeholder complaints and escalations through a sympathetic (yet formal) process
- Tracking customer and technology trends that could impact customer perception and service provision

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Start and end times are flexible along with lunch period and will be finalized with your supervisor upon selection. Work weeks must be consistent Monday through Friday 7.5 hour days.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. It is possible during the training period, or by management request, more frequent days in the office will be required. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Eleven years of professional information technology experience; or
- Seven years of professional information technology experience and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- You must possess IT project management experience across IT functional disciplines.
- You must have good organizational and multitasking, problem solving, broad technical acumen, leadership, and conflict management skills.
- You must possess experience independently managing a portfolio or program of work.
- This position is located in Harrisburg, Dauphin County. You must be willing and able to work and commute to this location.
- You must possess experience managing multiple IT projects simultaneously as a Project Manager.
- You must possess experience performing project planning activities, such as business process analysis, requirements elicitation, business case development, project resource planning and/or project budgeting.
- You must have experience with System implementation management of Saas (Software as a Service) or COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf).
- You must possess experience managing projects using the agile project methodology.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- College degree
- Experience performing strategic planning
- Experience implementing projects
- Possession of one or more of the following professional certifications: PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, ITIL Foundation
