Summary of Job Duties:This full-time, benefitted position serves as the marketing and communication manager for the Clinton School of Public Service. The marketing and communication manager supports the Director in all marketing and communications efforts for the Clinton School. They assist the mission of the Clinton School through successful marketing and communications initiatives and expand the school's impact through their efforts.

Marketing and Communications:

Develop and edit written content, including press releases, speeches, talking points, blogs, briefings, website copy, and marketing collateral
Create web and social media content, ensuring consistent messaging and branding
Create content for email marketing campaigns, info sheets, landing pages, etc. as assigned
Manage internal graphic design requests
Create content and manage information for the Clinton School website while optimizing for SEO and web accessibility compliance
Ensure all external content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the school's objectives
Assist in facilitating interviews for guest speakers, deans, faculty and students with television/print/online media
Develop and manage relationships with all media
Assist in managing external vendor projects, including photography, videography, graphic design, and apparel, etc.
Market and promote the Clinton School degree programs
Assist in marketing campaigns for the Clinton School
Assist in coordinating public programming event logistics
Coordinate with partners for internal and external programming events

Strategy/Special projects:

Work with Director of Marketing/Communication on special initiatives and projects.
Coordinate with marketing and communications director for special projects including video production, digital creation and maintenance, etc. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related area of study from an accredited institution of higher education

  • At least three years of communication and marketing experience

  • Demonstrated written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with other teams to align creative work with division goals
