Project Controls Manager

STV is seeking a Project Controls Manager to support a $3-$5 billion dollar project in overseeing project controls functions for high-quality infrastructure projects. This role will be integral in managing cost, schedule, and risk analysis to ensure efficient project delivery. The Project Controls Manager will receive structured onboarding and mentorship to progressively build expertise in project controls methodologies, reporting, and compliance within the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project controls strategies, including cost management, scheduling, and risk assessment.

  • Monitor project performance, track key performance indicators, and provide data-driven insights.

  • Oversee budget tracking, cost forecasting, and change management processes.

  • Ensure adherence to project reporting requirements and industry best practices.

  • Coordinate with project teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules and cost reports.

  • Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful project outcomes.

  • Utilize project management information systems (PMIS) such as e-Builder, Kahua, or Primavera P6.

  • Provide training and mentorship to project staff on project controls processes and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project controls, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in project controls, cost management, or scheduling for infrastructure projects.

  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and cost management tools.

  • Experience working with PMIS platforms such as e-Builder, Kahua, or Unifier.

  • Knowledge of project controls standards, reporting requirements, and best practices is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
