JOB DESCRIPTION: Summary of Position Responsible for the management of all financial functions of the Health Center as well as a variety of administrative functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop, implement and administer programs, policies and procedures for the organization's finance department through participating in Center planning efforts, integrating finance with operations and administrative concerns. Develops long and short-term financial plans, along with policies and procedures to maximize effectiveness of finance, monitors and reports on all operating and financial costs. * Prepares and analyzes periodic and special financial reports, makes presentations of financial results, capital and operating budgets, cash management and funded projects. * Prepares budget analysis, grant financial schedules, reviews of due diligence, management of grants and associated reporting requirements. * Manages day-to-day operations of the organization through supervising the financial, accounting and patient accounts professional staff through direct report management staff. * Monitors operational performance and initiates corrective actions as necessary, resolves conflict, assists in problem-solving activities. * Oversees all accounting functions through direct report management of Accounting staff, Patient Accounts staff, along with the functions of Information Systems, IT Department, Building Management. * Presents finance reports to the board on a monthly basis as well as helping the board to select a company for annual audit. * Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work practices and instructions. * Works with Management Team to ensure program compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and program requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Education Level Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. Years of Experience Minimal four years of experience in accounting and one-year experience in finance. Experience utilizing an accounting software program. Experience in healthcare and FQHC preferred.
